About Us

There's no need to compromise on your home lighting with the extensive range of fittings available at Kent Lighting, the new store in Tonbridge. From the traditional to the contemporary Kent Lighting has it all as in addition to the range of lights on display customers can choose from thousands of different fittings all available via carefully selected catalogues.

“Rather than cramming in loads of lights to display in the shop, which makes it difficult for the customer to appreciate the individual fittings, we have a small selection tastefully displayed plus plenty more to choose from in our catalogues,” explains co-owner and electrician Lee Terry.“ As an electrician I was always changing people's lights and they were constantly moaning they could never find the light they really wanted,” continues Lee who set up Kent Lighting with Darren Bourne in February this year, “so we planned to provide such a good range that our customers were bound to find what they were looking for.”

The modern and stylish shop, at 193 High Street, sources light fittings for both inside and outside of the home from wall and ceiling lights to table and floor lamps and Lee and Darren maintain a close eye on the lighting market to keep abreast of new ideas and changing trends. Kent Lighting provides a home service, giving customers the convenience of choosing from the catalogues at home, and a fitting service is also available.

Although still a fledgling shop, Kent Lighting is making its mark with customers who are loving the good quality fittings, the competitive prices and the knowledgeable and personal touch of Lee, Darren and Karen. “Customer service is a priority,” says Lee, “so we really listen to our customers to make sure we are offering the light fittings they want. As we grow, we want to get it right - so watch this space. Kent Lighting is set to be the one-stop shop for all your lighting needs.”
